Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.       The age of the Copilot + PCs is here.    I’ve been looking at the Copilot + Surface Laptop from Microsoft  and the performance and battery life….have been nothing short of amazing.   Easily enough to power through a work day unplugged.   Rather than the more typical Intel or AMD processors, these new machines are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip.   There’s a dedicated CoPilot key….push it and describe what you would like to create…there are new Windows Studio Effect and Live Captions.  And the capabilities are really just getting started with more apps designed to take advantage of the onboard AI processing on the way.     Recall is the most prominent….coming now later this year….and it is designed to allow you to search your PC using natural language.  We’ll have more …in the weeks to come.
