A Super Hero to save the data on your iPhone. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It looks like a pretty standard docking stand for the iPhone or iPod Touch, but the newly announced Super Hero from Iomega is designed to help rescue what you have stored on it. Iomega President Jonathan Huberman…
“So it’s a combination of a charger, looks like a charger, nice small form factor, but we have memory built in as well as hardware and firmware that interacts with an app, a free app that you download, the Super Hero app, that together provides a back-up for that phone every time you charge.”
The Super Hero backs up contacts and photos from your iPhone. The price, under 70 dollars. The company is also announcing Iomega TV with Boxee…bringing Internet content and lots of network storage to the family room TV. You can find us with more from this week’s Consumer Electronics Show at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
