Higher quality and 3D camcorders from DXG. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. DXG, which entered the consumer camcorder market years ago selling the lowest cost cameras around, is moving up in quality and capability. Senior VP Paul Goldberg says among the new models arriving this year is a new HD 3D camcorder…the 5D9…..
“And this is one of the first full HD, 1080p camcorders in the market that features dual lens technology. It’s a 3D camcorder, it allows you to record both 2D and 3D video as well as photos. It has a very large screen that has a 3.2 inch 3D TFT screen. It doesn’t require 3D glasses in order to see the image.”
The price…about 300 dollars. DXG is also expanding its pro gear line. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
