Expanding the storage in an iPad or iPhone. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. If you have an iPad or iPhone, you’re kind of stuck with the storage capacity of what you purchased. There is no memory card slot. But Wearable Inc has created a little gadget called the AirStash, that lets you add to the capacity through a wireless connection. CEO Matthew Klapman….
“It has multiple value propositions, but the main one is that it’s a wireless flash drive. So it’s a USB drive that you can plug into your computer, you can drag and drop like a drive but it has a battery in it. So you can turn it on and have it communicate to your iPad, your iPhone, your iPod touch. So you can store files back and forth between third party apps on your iPad over to the AirStash.”
The AirStash sells for 99 dollars, holds SD cards up to 32 gigabytes and can work with other WiFi devices as well. You can find us with more from the Consumer Electronics Show at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
