Tablet computers everywhere. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. At this month’s Consumer Electronics Show, once again there was no sign of Apple. But the company’s influence and success with the iPad were in evidence everywhere. Among the companies looking to move into tablets in a big way this year is Asus. It will be rolling out the Eee Pad Transformer…running the latest version of Google’s Android operating system and with an add-on docking station…it can be converted into a full fledged notebook running Windows.
