Accessories for Ultrabooks add some style. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Those thin and light Ultrabook computers are winning some fans as the Windows answer to Apple’s Macbook Air. And now Targus is out with a line of accessories it calls Ultralife. The products, ranging from a USB hub to mice and a stylus, have a sleek design and bronze finish. Marketing VP Carolyn Perrier says most are made of anodized aluminum…
“And each of the products has, generally, a multifunction aspect to them for convenience for travel. So some of the more interesting ones are our hub, which is a combination of a USB port, 3 of them, along with an Ethernet port since most Ultrabooks don’t have an Ethernet port. Our mouse has an SD card reader built into the dongle.”
Clever and useful. There are also stylish Ultrabook cases in the line up. There’s more info at Targus.com. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
