Creating photo mosaics on an iPad. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Photo mosaics let you create a photo out of many small ones. There are some pretty sophisticated software packages that let you create them on computers. MindTrip Studios is out with an app, MyMosaic, that simplifies the process on an iPad. CEO Roozbeh Ashtyani…
“You launch the app and it will scan the photos in your library and then you select either take a picture or select a photo from your library. Actually the app leads you through the process. You select and image and then at the bottom it says mosaic options, select that, and then it runs you through the settings. There are default settings there so you don’t have to adjust anything.”
The more tiles, the more detail and MyMosaic can output files big enough to create poster sized prints. The app sells for just 99 cents. You can find us with archives, interviews, giveaways and more at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
