Something new on the horizon from Lenovo. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. One of the biggest attention getters at this month’s International Consumer Electronics Show was a new computer from Lenovo called the IdeaCentre Horizon, a table PC. VP Samuel Dusi….
“What we basically have here is a 27 inch, ten touch, you can call it a large tablet if you want. But really a table top device that allows people to gather around, share, move photographs, basically bring all the elements of video, photography, educational games, gaming apps all into a table top environment. I think we’ve all experienced that our grandchildren are sitting over in the corner playing on their tablets while we’re sitting over there watching TV, this kind of bring all that together.”
The IdeaCentre Horizon is scheduled to go on sale this summer with prices in the fifteen hundred dollar range. It looks and feels like fun with a number of unique apps and games ready to roll. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
