An app for kids for Earth Day or any day. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. I Love Mountains is the name of a story book app designed for Apple’s iOS and published…for free…by developer Forest Giant. While it is designed for kids as young as four, President Dave Durand says there’s enough there to hold the interest of older siblings too…
“I have three kids, six months old to eight years old, and our kids just love it, every single one of them. What you’ll find in there is a story that people can follow, but you’re also going to learn about everything from animals to how mountains are actually formed. So it’s very educational for the older kids too. In addition, you’re going to find that we’ve infused quite a few games that people can play along the way, like learning about the plants and fruits that you might find in the mountains and where the biggest mountains in the world are. ”
And again..I Love Mountains…is free. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
