An all out video game war, coming this holiday season. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. With Sony and Microsoft having unveiled more details about their new video game consoles due out in time for the holidays this year, it looks like it will be an all out war. Sony’s PlayStation 4, unless things change, will cost 399 dollars, a hundred less than Microsoft’s Xbox One. Both will be powerful machines designed for gaming and entertainment. Sony Computer Entertainment America Chief Marketing Officer Guy Longworth…
“It really pushes the boundaries of play. It’s never been created before. It’s a brand new box with some amazing technology inside it. And we did our very best to get a price that we thought was going to be competitive in the marketplace. We think that for 399 dollars you’re buying a platform that’s going to last ten years. And forty bucks a year for that is a pretty incredible value.”
There’s much more to come in the battle. Stay tuned. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
