The next great camera from Panasonic will shoot 4K video. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It’s another micro four thirds interchangeable lens camera. But the big news with Panasonic’s announcement of the Lumix GH4 is the ability to shoot 4K or ultra high definition video. Corporate Communications Manager Dan Unger says it is the successor to the GH3 which won over a fair number of professional photographers…
“This is truly entering the area of a true professional camera, but even more so in the area of video. We are entering an area where it is truly for the cinematographer and people that work in the video world And it’s the first 4K camera in DSLM or a mirrorless camera.”
An early look was impressive. Stay tuned for more info on availability and pricing. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
