Fitness bands and motivation.  A different approach.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     I’ve been testing out lots of different types of fitness bands.   With most you set goals that you try to meet or have the added fun of letting you compete against other users.   A company called Goqii is taking a different approach, by assigning a coach…a real live person…to each user to provide tips and encouragement.   CEO Vishal Gondal….

“In the case of Goqii, the real product or what you’re really buying is a subscription to connect with a fitness coach on the cloud.  And the device itself is free.   Plus Goqii is also compatible with other devices.”
