A Wi-Fi baby camera designed to do more.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   D-Link has upped the ante with its latest baby monitor WiFi camera.   The DCS-855L is full of features that make it worthwhile for keeping an eye on the baby….and much more.   Marketing specialist Zoe Revis…

“It has the pan and tilt functionality so you can see the entire room and as well a pre-set so you can just push a button and it will go directly to one spot in the room.  Two way audio so you can listen as well as speak into, so if you were talking to the baby or the pet.  It has snapshot and video capturing so if you want to save a photo or capture a video you can do that and it will just go straight into your phone or tablet.  And motion or sound detection so if anything is going on at home you’ll get a push alert to your phone or email.”

You can add your own lullabies for the camera to play…and it features a temperature sensor as well.  And the HD video quality is impressive even in the dark.    The price, about 230 dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin
