Hands on with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    For fans of big screen smartphones, a category created by Samsung with the original Galaxy Note,  the Note 5 is hard to beat.   While I wish Samsung had kept the memory card slot and user replaceable battery,  it has enough going for it, with a fast processor, great display and camera,  to make it a leading  choice.   And what’s really unique about the Note 5, is Samsung’s S Pen.   Director of Product Marketing Suzanne DeSilva…

“So the Note 5 has improved S Pen handling.  You can now capture entire pages with the S Pen.  You can do things on the Note 5 that you really can’t do anywhere else.  Where else can you capture anything on a page that you can see?  You can do that with the S Pen on the Note 5.”
