“I don’t use any social media sites…no Facebook, no LinkedIn, no nothing like that. They’ve always seemed to me to have, really, the wrong kind of incentives in place. Their goal is to gather data about you as a person and sell that information to advertisers.”
His advice to read those terms of service and know what you are getting into…or in the professor’s case… not getting into. The professor, by the way, heads the Tandon School of Engineering’s Secure Systems Laboratory.
