“What these technologies have done is allowed for computer software that resides in the insulin pump or in a cell phone…to take some of that burden of management so to speak…off the person…and put it into the hands of a computer.”
He adds.. more breakthroughs are on the horizon with the help of JDRF…including interoperability of the systems and encapsulated stem cell devices.
