PreSonus is making it easier than even to deliver great sound with its USB interface line-up. I’ve really liked the Studio 24c with two XLR mic or instrument jacks in the front, knobs and level meters for accurate control…phantom mic power when needed…all powered by a USB C connection. It sells for under 170 dollars..but comes with the company’s Studio One Artist and Studio Magic software for Macs and PCs. You’ll want decent microphones to go with it. If you’re looking for a budget solution with even better portability…check out the company’s new AudioBox Go…a worthwhile solution if one XLR mic port will do the trick.
