With Unistellar’s upcoming ENVISION Smart Binoculars on the horizon… we’ve had the opportunity to take a look at and through Unistellar’s amazing Odyssey Pro telescope. It is compact, really portable, sets up in seconds, pairs with an app and then the fun begins. From my front yard in a not especially dark environment, the Unistellar Odyssey Pro guided itself through the sky as I used the app to locate and take amazing images of the M57 Ring Nebula, the M101 Pinwheel Galaxy and more. Even the sun with a specialized solar filter. Unistellar is making astrophotography available to amateurs…with the biggest drawback being the price tag.
