Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        It is an annual ritual …and the new iPhones from Apple are due in stores at the end of the week.      And again…with the iPhone 16…the photo and video capabilities take center stage.    There’s a new Camera Control Sensor situated on the right side of the phone….that can be used to launch the camera app, take a photo or record videos.   Photo ops can be fleeting.     Apple says the new A18 and A18 Pro chips will deliver better battery life and the camera capabilities vary depending upon your choice of phone.  The basic iPhone 16…starting at 799 list….offers an impressive 48 megapixel fusion sensor…and a 12 megapixel ultra wide.  The iPhone Pro line starts at 999 list and adds telephoto and a 48 megapixel ultra wide.
